Auditions Announced for BYE BYE LIVER by 628 Productions

628_Bye Bye Liver promoCasting Call for the show “Bye Bye Liver” at Below Zero Lounge 1122 Walnut St. 45202

The longest running show here in Cincinnati is looking to add talented actors to the cast! “Bye Bye Liver” first opened here in Cincinnati in March 2014 and has been running every Saturday since the show hit the local scene. It is a social satire that pokes fun at the follies of drinking through hilarious sketches and interactive games with the audience. The show has had rotation of material during its run thus far with opportunities for bringing in new sketches. The show run time is approximately 90 minutes.

Casting Tuesday July 14 7-9pm, Wednesday July 15 7-9pm and July 21, 22 for callbacks if necessary Looking for actors to begin as soon as Saturday, August 1st depending on role.

Roles:

  • Male character actor (20-45)
  • Female character actor (20-45)

Shows to run only on Saturday nights with an open-ended run, but commitments are negotiable. Please bring a resume to auditions, headshot optional.

    It is with great sadness that we have to CANCEL the show tonight 2/21. Snowmaggedon has officially hit Cincinnati and continues to pummel us. If you had tickets for tonight, we will take care of you!
  • CHAPATTI presented by Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
    Due to the inclement weather, the Saturday, Feb. 21, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. performances of CHAPATTI have been canceled. The Box Office will remain closed today. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • THE CORONATION OF POPPEA presented by UC College-Conservatory of Music
    Due to inclement weather, the Saturday evening performance of THE CORONATION OF POPPEA has been canceled. Sunday’s matinee performance is expected to proceed as originally scheduled. If we can add any make-up performances of this production, we will make an announcement ASAP.   • IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT presented by Falcon Theater
    Due to the inclement weather, we’ve decided to keep our actors AND fans safe and warm this evening and are canceling tonight’s 8 p.m. performance of In the Heat of the Night.
    We’ll be adding a performance this Thursday, 2/26 at 8 p.m. Our Box Office will call anyone with a reservation to reschedule their tickets for next week.

  • LITTLE WOMEN presented by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company
    Tonight’s performance of LITTLE WOMEN is cancelled due to snow. If you have tickets, a staff member will call you this afternoon to reschedule, or you can use the link in your confirmation email to exchange for another date. If we do not reach you today, please call the box office next week to reschedule.
  • LOVE LETTERS presented by Fairfield Footlighters
    The Saturday, Feb 21, production of “Love Letters” has been CANCELED due to the current Level 2 Snow Emergency in Butler County. Ticket holders will be contacted for an opportunity to exchange for a future performance. We apologize for any inconvenience.Please come and see Bob & Heidi perform on Sunday, March 1, at 2pm.   • MOVE OVER MRS. MARKHAM presented by Beechmont Players
    Beechmont Players, Inc. has decided to cancel the Saturday, February 21, performance of “Move Over, Mrs. Markham” due to inclement weather. Our box office will call our patrons who have already bought tickets for tonight to exchange their tickets for another performance.     Due to the road conditions and the Level 2 Snow Emergency in Butler County, tonight’s performance (Saturday, Feb. 21) is CANCELLED. We are in the process of arranging a make up date, and will post that information as soon as it becomes available. If you have tickets for this performance, they will be honored for the make up date. At this point, the performance for tomorrow (Sunday, Feb. 22) is STILL ON!!! Let’s hope the weather cooperates and the roads get cleared tomake travel safe!     Tonight’s performance of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY is on. We know it’s cold, so escape to the sweltering Oklahoma plains with us. Showtime is still 8pm. A few tickets remain.
  • THE HANDMAID’S TALE presented by Know Theatre of Cincinnati
    The weather outside is indeed frightful, but the show goes on at Know Theatre of Cincinnati tonight.Tonight’s final performance of The Handmaid’s Tale at Know Theatre will proceed as planned at 8PM.

    THAT SAID: If you have tickets for tonight but do not feel comfortable making the trip in, please give us a call at 513-300-5669 on Monday and we will be happy to issue vouchers for a future show at the Know, or provide you with a refund of your ticket if a future show is not in the cards for you.

We have seen some great talent here in Cincinnati, but we need to complete the cast! “Bye Bye Liver” is a successful sketch comedy show that’s been running in Chicago for 7 years and is coming to Cincinnati. It’s a social satire that pokes fun at the follies of drinking through hilarious sketches and interactive games with the audience.

The show run time is approximately 90 minutes.

Casting Monday March 3, 7-9pm and Wednesday March 5, 7-8pm

Rehearsals to begin Thursday March 6

Opening Night Saturday March 29

Roles:

  • Male character actor (20-45)
  • Male host/personality that interacts with audience well (20-45) 
  • Female character actor (20-45) 

Shows to run only on Saturday nights through April, with possible additional Friday show dates after April.

Show is an open-ended run, but commitments are negotiable.
