Come and audition for this hysterical musical comedy! This hilarious show, based on the Roman farces of Plautus, is a nonstop laughfest in which Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan named Philia for his young master, Hero, in exchange for freedom. The plot twists and turns with cases of mistaken identity, slamming doors and a showgirl or two. This unforgettable, hysterical musical allows a terrific ensemble of comedic actors to shine – “something for everyone, a comedy tonight!”

Auditions:

  • Sunday, November 20, 2-5pm
  • Monday, November 21, 7-10pm

Prepare 16-32 bars of a song that best shows off your range.
Be prepared to learn a short dance combination. (Bring appropriate shoes and attire).
Be prepared for cold readings from the script.

  • Sunday August 28, 2016 2:00-5:00 pm
  • Monday August 29, 2016 7:00-9:00 pm

Please with you the following:

  • A theater resume listing experience
  • A list of your conflicts from Labor Day through the first three weeks in November
  • Prepare one chorus of any Broadway song
  • Bring tap shoes and dance shoes and be prepared to tap and dance
  • Come prepared to read from the script
