Fairfield Footlighters
Nov. 10-19
Fairfield Community Arts Center

Cast: Jake Brown, Sarah Burch & Anna Schindler

An affectionate, irreverent roller-coaster ride from fig leaves to Final Judgment, tackling the great theological questions: Did Adam and Eve have navels? Did Moses really look like Charlton Heston? And why isn’t the word “phonetic” spelled the way it sounds? Whether you’re Catholic or Atheist, Muslim or Jew, Protestant or Purple People Eater, you will be tickled by this romp through old-time religion.

VANITIES Runs Sept. 22-Oct. 1

FFL_Vanities logoVANITIES
Fairfield Footlighters
Sept. 22-Oct. 1
Fairfield Community Arts Center

Directed by Pat Ganz
Produced by Dan Schindler

Cast: Kendra Thomas as Joanne, Hannah Brown as Kathy & Maggie Gardner as Mary

In 1963, Joanne, Kathy, and Mary are aggressively vivacious cheerleaders. Five years later in their college sorority house, they are confronting their futures with nervous jauntiness. In 1974, they reunite briefly in New York. Their lives have diverged and their friendship, which once thrived on assumption as well coordinated as sweater sets, is strained and ambiguous. Old time banter rings false. Their attempts at honest conversation only show they can no longer afford to have very much in common.
Rated PG-13 for some situational humor and strong adult language.
