DEATH OF A SALESMAN
At Monday night’s meeting to set the performance line-up for this year’s OCTA Fest Regional, nine theatres submitted entry forms to compete. Following the selection process, with a few adjustments, the following schedule was set. The festival will be held on Friday, June 23, and Saturday, June 24, at Parrish Auditorium, Miami University-Hamilton. Two of the competing excerpts will be chosen to represent the Southwest Region at this year’s OCTA State Conference, Labor Day weekend, in Columbus.
On Feb 25th from 1-4pm the Long Range Judging Committee (LRJC) will be holding a forum on How to Critique Directing and Props, as well as, how to write a thorough, helpful critique that will benefit groups. We want to create a learning environment with an open dialogue between ACT groups and ACT adjudicators. The LRJC is striving to make our judging system beneficial for all groups and their members. Please consider joining us in a couple of weeks. Last year’s forum was tremendous and so helpful for all of us who attended. We’re hoping this one is just as well attended and advantageous for all.
