2016-2017 Season Announced by Fairfield Footlighters

fflDon’t miss Fairfield Footlighters 16th Season!

First up in September 2016 is THE RAINMAKER, a comedy by N. Richard Nash with surprisingly rich and interesting characters. Geoff Werbin will direct in his Fairfield Footlighters debut.

Second is THE BOYS NEXT DOOR, by Tom Griffen. This poignant comedy takes a humorous look at Jack and his four mentally challenged wards and is directed by Kevin Noll.

The Italian-American slice-of-life comedy, OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS is next, directed by Brandon Burtis.

Closing out the season in May 2017 is the hit musical, THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, featuring not only an eclectic group of sixth-graders, but also members of the audience. This improv-isational show is directed by Heidi Schiller.

Staff and Design Positions Available at New Edgecliff Theatre

NETNew Edgecliff started in 1998 as an essentially two-person operation. Over the years, we have grown our staff but continue to seek out talented individuals with a passion for the theatre.

At this time, NET does not maintain any full-time/salaried staff members. Positions are stipend-paid on a per-production basis.  Designer and crew positions are typically filled at the beginning of each season, but opportunities occasionally arise throughout the year.  If you are interested in working with our company, check for position openings (listed to the right), or send us your resume via e-mail to jobs@newedgecliff.com.

Mariemont Players presents THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED), a comedy by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield at the Walton Creek Theater, 4101 Walton Creek Road (just East of Mariemont), July 8th through July 24th, 2016.

Fast paced, witty and physical, this play is full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. It’s a Shakespearian mix of pratfalls, clunky female impersonators, clean-cut ribaldry, and broad burlesque. Expect a delightful evening brushing up on your Shakespeare.
