Panelists for the League of Cincinnati Theatres (LCT) have recognized Covedale Center for the Performing Arts’ CINDERELLA as a recommended production.

The timeless enchantment of this magical fairy tale is all dressed up on the Covedale stage as a Christmas fantasia, complete with the Prince’s Christmas Ball, Cinderella’s crystalline castle and a holiday romance that begins with a sparkling slipper! This is the famous Rodgers & Hammerstein version, originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews. This special Christmas edition will transport a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true. The hearts of children and adults alike will soar when the slipper fits.

Panelists praised Cinderella for it’s “big warm heart”. “The enthusiasm of the actors was lovely.” A “fun”, “good-feeling” show for the whole family.

Cinderella continues through December 23rd. Tickets can be purchased at www.cincinnatilandmarkproductions.com/ccpa.

Final LCT awards will be determined at the end of the season and announced at the LCT gala in the spring.

The League of Cincinnati Theatres was founded in 1999 to strengthen, nurture and promote Cincinnati’s theatre community. LCT provides its member companies and individual members with education, resources and services to enhance the quality and exposure of the theatre community in Cincinnati and increase community awareness, attendance and involvement. More information about the League can be found at www.leagueofcincytheatres.com.
