THE LAST FIVE YEARS Returns to Incline Theatre in February

WFIT_The Last Five Years logo2Re-Introducing the new “Season Extra”

Before the pandemic and resulting shut-down, Cincinnati Landmark Productions had announced plans to replace the winter District Series season at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater with special engagement productions that fit outside the usual programming but could be presented individually.

With that news in mind, Cincinnati Landmark Productions announces its first Season Extra production:

THE LAST FIVE YEARS , one of the most beloved and award-winning modern musicals, will run February 24 to March 13, 2022 at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater. Tickets are on sale now!

An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their 20s who fall in and out of love over the course of five years, the show’s unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically. The two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show.

Note: THE LAST FIVE YEARS was previously produced by Cincinnati Landmark Productions but only ran for 3 performances before being shut down in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Patrons who have ticket credits from that run can redeem them for tickets to this production by contacting the box office at (513) 241-6550.

The cast includes Maddie Vaughn as Catherine Hiatt and – back from the previous production – Elliot Handkins as Jamie Wellerstein. Also back for this production are Tim Perrino (director) and Michael Kennedy (music director). Angelica Ortiz is the production stage manager.

Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
