Programming Suspended at Madcap Education Center

MEC_logoMadcap Education Center patron:

The safety of our young patrons is the highest priority of Cincinnati Landmark Productions, Madcap Puppets and the Madcap Education Center.

Due to the temporary closure of all educational facilities, we must officially:

  1. Cancel the March 13, March 20, March 27 and April 3 performances of ComedySportz Cincinnati.
  2. Postpone the Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 performances of Madcap Puppets’ Twice Upon a Time. The new performance dates will be May 2-3.
  3. Cancel the March 21 performance of Trick the Show. However, we will add an additional performance on June 27.
  4. Cancel all classes/workshops in the Madcap Education Center until Monday, April 6.

All performance ticket holders should contact the Box Office at (513) 241-6550 to discuss their best option. Your original tickets for this weekend’s Twice Upon a Time performances will be honored on the aforementioned new dates.

All class registrants should look for a communication about their specific class and its plan moving forward.

It saddens us to cancel/postpone any programming. But we do so for the greater good. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

WSUDear Wright State Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures Patrons, Students, Faculty and Staff,

It is my disappointing duty to announce that we will postpone our production of MAMMA MIA until the Fall, where it will become part of our 2020-21 season.

Come Fall, we will look forward to having you with us to celebrate our collective health.

All Activities Suspended After Friday’s Performance of STUART LITTLE at Town Hall Theatre

THT_logoIn response to the elevated concern regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and consistent with recommendations from state health authorities to limit large gatherings and practice social distancing, Washington Township has made the decision to temporarily close the Recreation Center campus, including Town Hall Theatre, effective today, March 13 at 9:00PM for at least 3 weeks.

Tonight’s performance of STUART LITTLE will go on as planned. The remaining shows will be cancelled and we will be giving refunds. If you have purchased a ticket for an upcoming performance and would like to transfer your ticket to tonight’s show, we can also do that. Rehearsals for Mary Poppins Jr. and Fairy Tale Misfits are both postponed during this time.

Our first priority is the health and well-being of our community. This was a difficult decision to make and as a full partner with our local health agencies and the State of Ohio, we recognize that community mitigation strategies are crucial to slowing the transmission of the virus in Ohio. This situation continues to change at a rapid pace so stay informed at www.phdmc.org/coronavirus-updates. We appreciate you all and thank you for your support.

THE AGITATORS Postponed at Falcon Theatre

FT_logoCOVID-19 Update:

It is with great disappointment that Falcon has decided to reschedule our production of THE AGITATORS in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The health and well-being of our patrons, artists, staff and volunteers is of utmost importance to us and we believe that this is the most prudent course of action at this time.

We are currently discussing possible dates for rescheduling THE AGITATORS and will post those as soon as possible. We will also be contacting everyone who has already purchased tickets with detailed instructions and options for refunds, exchanges, etc. Please be patient with us while we work with our ticket vendor to finalize those details.

At this point, we are moving forward with all plans for our production of Silent Sky in May as scheduled. We will, of course, continue to monitor this quickly changing situation and will communicate any changes to that production if they need to happen.

We encourage everyone to follow the CDC’s recommendations on basic health and safety practices including frequent hand washing, etc. Details on those guidelines can be found here: CDC Link

Thank you to all our patrons and artists for supporting us through this challenging time.

Sincerely,
Ted Weil
Producing Artistic Director

Current Productions Suspended at Know Theatre

KTC_Lets Play logoIn light of the rapidly developing circumstances regarding COVID-19, we’ve decided the best way to serve the community is to suspend current productions for the time being.

We are working on ways we can continue to deliver the work of our community of artists to our audiences in a remote fashion – stay tuned as those developments roll out.

But until then, if you already have tickets for an upcoming performance, you have a couple options:

  • We can convert your ticket to an account credit for a future Know show
  • We can convert your ticket to a tax-deductible donation

You can give us a call at 513-300-5669 or email info@knowtheatre.com with any questions you may have. We’re here to help!

Thank you for being part of the Know family. We wouldn’t be here without you – stay safe and take care of each other.
