Dec, 5 – Dec. 29, 2019 at the Covedale Center

A holiday classic from Meredith Willson, the writer of the musical classic, The Music Man! Single mother, Doris Walker, doesn’t want her six-year-old Susan’s head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbor, Fred Gailey, tries to woo Doris by taking Susan to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts. Filled with humor, spectacle and such beloved songs as “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” “Pinecones and Hollyberries,” and “My State, My Kansas,” this joyous, heartwarming musical is pure family entertainment for the holidays!

HAND TO GOD
By Robert Askins
January 23 – Feb. 9, 2020 at the Incline Theater

After the death of his father, meek Jason finds an outlet for his anxiety at the Christian Puppet Ministry, in the devoutly religious, relatively quiet small town of Cypress, Texas. Jason’s complicated relationship with the town pastor, the school bully, the girl next door, and – most especially – his mother are thrown into upheaval when Jason’s puppet, Tyrone, takes on a shocking and dangerously irreverent personality all its own. HAND TO GOD explores the startlingly fragile nature of faith, mortality, and the ties that bind us.

Dylan Shelton, Director; Steven Ducker, Stage Manager

Wright Jr., Adam Levine, Cassidy Steele, Courtney Duncan, Tara-Lynne Skinner, Frankie Montazemi, Keri Baggs, Pamela Blessing and Christopher Carter

There’s magic to do when a prince learns the true meaning of glory, love and war in Stephen Schwartz’s iconic and unforgettable musical masterpiece. Pippin is the story of one young man’s journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this updated version continues to captivate the young and the young-at-heart throughout the world.  Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince seeks fulfillment in all the ‘expected’ ways – the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day. The musical features one of Stephen Schwarz’s best scores, including songs like Corner of the SkyNo Time At All and Magic to Do!
