Mason Players’ to Present THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE

Don’t forget that Mason Community Players’ Fall Show, THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE opens on Halloween Night!

This is the perfect show for the spooky season!

Dr. Montague (Bob Brunner) would like nothing more than to prove the existence of the paranormal. He has publicized an invitation for others who share his interest to join him at Hill House, a manor rumored to be haunted. Eleanor Vance (Brittany Quist) and Theodora (Briana Kennedy) take him up on his invitation and they set out to prove that there is more to our world than what we suppose. Caught up in the investigation are Housekeeper Mrs. Dudley (Ursula Biron), the owner of the manor, Luke Sanderson (Jeremy Boyd), Mrs. Montague (Melissa Trinidad), and her friend Arthur (Richard Rees).

What will this intrepid band discover? Does the paranormal exist? You’ll have to attend a performance to find out!

Performances are October 31st, November 1st, 6th, 7th, and 8th at 8pm and November 2nd at 2pm. All performances are at the Mason Community Playhouse, 5529 Mason Road in Mason.

Auditions Announced for ALMOST, MAINE at Mason Community Players

Director Corey Meyer and Producer Lara Gonzalez are excited to announce auditions for the first show of MCP’s 2026 Season, Almost, Maine.

The show includes nine interconnected vignettes that explore the complexities of love and relationships in life, and features characters experiencing the highs and lows of love in all its forms: finding it, losing it, and all the unexpected ways it can change people. Unfolding under the mystical aurora borealis, the show is set in various locations around the fictional, magical, and remote town of “Almost”; so remote it is “almost” not a town at all.

Auditions will be held
Saturday, October 11th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM,
and Monday, October 13th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM
at the Mason Community Playhouse,
5529 Mason Road in Mason.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
There are up to 19 roles of various ages to be filled. The director would like to cast each separately rather than use the same actor in different roles.

Those auditioning are asked to complete a form in advance. It can be accessed here:
