The Yellow Boat is an inspiring and hopeful play based on a true story. Its source material is a book authored by David Saar, who also crafted the stage version. David is the father of Benjamin, who was born with congenital hemophilia and died at the age of 8 due to complications from AIDS. The manner in which Benjamin faced his challenges is a light for all. The Yellow Boat is directed by Kevin Dunaway, produced by Matt Lisa, and stage managed by Jess Bunn.
The cast includes Taylor Duecker as Benjamin, Charlie Rader as Father, Pia Rader as Mother, Sofie Tedesco as Joy, Spencer Flaherty as Eddy, and Jaycen Smith, Megan Jungkunz, DeCharmus Grover, and Richa Gupta in the Ensemble.
