CINCINNATI, OH – “From all those good and crazy people, your friends!”

Cincinnati Music Theatre (CMT), now celebrating its 50th Anniversary Season, proudly presents Company, by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth, featuring a brilliant and energetic score with many of Sondheim’s best-known songs, including “Another Hundred People,” “The Ladies Who Lunch,” and “Being Alive.” This landmark “concept” show is considered by many to have inaugurated the modern era of musical theatre. Company is as contemporary and relevant as ever.

Join us November 9 – 17, 2012 at the Aronoff Center’s Jarson-Kaplan Theater as we take an honest, witty, and sophisticated look at relationships.

The recent revival at Cincinnati Playhouse In the Park went on to Broadway, where it won a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 2007.

The cast includes some of the city’s finest talent: Michael Shawn Starks (Robert), Sarah Mizelle (Sarah), Brandon Bentley (Harry), Bree Hunter Sprankle (Susan), Jered Ryan (Peter), Julia Abanto-Bethune (Jenny), Brian Anderson (David), Jen McGuire (Amy), Darin Art (Paul), Deana Tully (Joanne), Chuck Ingram (Larry), Katie Daniel (April), Kati Bakes (Kathy), Dylan McCrate (Marta).

COMPANY features book by George Furth, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. CMT’s production is being produced by Jill Rothmeeler and Kevin Burton and directed by Bill Geraghty, with vocal direction by Marie Kramer, music direction by Mike Griffin, and choreography by Meghan Zlatic.

It features a brilliant energetic score containing many of Stephen Sondheim’s best-known songs (including “Another Hundred People,” “The Ladies Who Lunch” and “Being Alive.”)

CMT Announces Cast of COMPANY

Cincinnati Music Theatre proudly announces the cast for it’s fall production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s musical comedy COMPANY. The show will be performed from November 9th – 17th, 2012 in the Jarson/Kaplan Theater in the Aronoff Center For The Arts.

Season tickets are scheduled to go on sale August 1, 2012. Single tickets are scheduled to go on sale September 4, 2012. These dates are subject to change.

CMT Seeks Choreographer for SUNSET BOULEVARD

Cincinnati Music Theatre is seeking a choreographer for its Spring 2013 production of Sunset Boulevard.

The choreographer will be working in conjunction with the director to create chorography and musical staging for various sequences and will be responsible teaching, rehearsing and polishing these sequences. Rehearsals will begin in late February, 2013. Performances are May 10 through May 18, 2013 at the Jarson-Kaplan Theater at the Aronoff Center.

Cincinnati Music Theatre is proud to present the first Cincinnati community theatre production of Sunset Boulevard. Based the Billy Wilder film, it features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton. It is being produced by Deb Schubert and directed by Skip Fenker, who previously directed CMT’s local premieres of Curtains, The Drowsy Chaperone and Hairspray. Kendra Struthers, who has conducted CMT’s productions of Gypsy, Curtains and Hairspray, will serve as musical director.
