Deadline Reminder for OCTAFest

Reminder – You have a week! June 8th is the pre-registration “early bird” deadline for our exciting June 21, 22 and 23 OCTAFEST weekend of theatre excerpts and the annual Saturday evening Association of Community Theater (ACT) convention. The event pricing will increase beginning June 9th through midnight June 18 (final pre-registration deadline).

Note: Tickets for excerpts, awards and party only will be available at door registration during the event if you are unable to pre-register.

If you have never attended OCTAFEST, join us! You will enjoy 13 community theatre groups from the Southwest Ohio OCTA region each performing a 30 minute excerpt from this past year of productions, as well as food, refreshments, basket raffles and a lot of fun! You’ll be greatly entertained!

TDW Announces Logo Contest for New Home

The Drama Workshop would like to invite the Cincinnati Theatre Community to participate in a logo contest for TDW’s new GLENMORE PLAYHOUSE.

The deadline is June 8, 2012.

How to Enter:

  1. The Submission Guidelines for the contest may be obtained by emailing Gretchen Gantner at GRoose1876@aol.com.
  2. Initial entries must be submitted by e-mail to GRoose1876@aol.com. The entries must be submitted as both a scalable vector graphic in EPS format (.eps) and in a JPG format (.jpg, .jpeg). See the Submission

Guidelines for further information.

  • Each entry must be presented as a black & white and a color version.
  • All entries must include the entrant’s name and phone number.
  • No more than 3 entries may be submitted by any one entrant.
  • Entries must conform to the Submission Guidelines set out in rules and the creative brief.
  • Entries which fail to do so will be rejected.
  • The deadline for entries is June 8, 2012.
  • There is no fee to enter the contest.

We are very excited about our contest and look forward to viewing the submissions!
