TDW Announces Cast for ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST

TDW_VERTThe Drama Workshop is very proud to announce the cast of our production of ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST. The competition was very tough, and we easily could have cast the show two or three times with the all the outstanding actors that showed up to auditions over the last two weeks. We thank everybody who came to the Playhouse for sharing their time and talents with us.

The show will be directed by Joe Penno, and stage managed by Tobie Braverman. It will run from November 7 through November 23.

UP Announces Cast of BLOGGING BEHIND BARS

Directed by Jon Kovach, BLOGGING BEHIND BARS will run as part of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival May 28th-June 7th hosted by the Know Theatre of Cincinnati.

The creators of Cincy Fringe hits THE WAVE, and NOTHING, present the true events of Whitney Smith; a young non-violent criminal writing an award-nominated blog from inside the walls of a maximum-security prison. Caged with America’s most violent convicts, Whit’s sober insight and self-deprecating humor aid in coping with the anguish of institutionalization. Influenced by Bill Waterson (Calvin & Hobbes), reflections on prison reform have never been illustrated so “wittily.”

Audition Accompanist Needed for BB’s JOSEPH…

MISC_keyboardHELP! We need a pianist for auditions for JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT presented by Bart’s Bards.

Auditions will consist of playing accompaniment from sheet music provided by the Auditioners.

Auditions are:

  • Saturday, March 22nd 1-4 PM
  • Sunday, March 23rd 6-9 PM
  • Tuesday, March 25th 6-9 PM
  • Saturday, March 29th 1-4 PM (Possible callbacks) 

Unfortunately, we do not have a budget for this – we are looking for people who could volunteer out of the kindness of their hearts.
