  • BECKY’S NEW CAR presented by Mariemont Players
    Mariemont Players has decided to cancel tonight’s performance. The performance will be rescheduled for Wednesday, January 17 at 7:30pm. All patrons holding tickets for tonight’s performance are asked to call the box office at 513.684.1236 to transfer their seats to Wednesday’s performance.
  • LETTERS FROM VIETNAM presented by Falcon Theatre at Newport Library
    Tonight’s FREE performance has been CANCELLED. New performance date to be announced.

VICTORIA THEATRE ASSOCIATION’S POLICY: If the cast and crew are already at the theatre, performances will go on as scheduled except in the event of a Level 3 Snow Emergency for the city of Dayton. If the cast and/or crew cannot make it here due to weather or other emergencies, performances may be cancelled. If a performance is cancelled due to weather, refunds may be provided at the discretion of the artist/producers and VTA. 

If there is a Level 1 or Level 2 Snow Emergency and you opt not to attend, contact the box office before your scheduled performance and we will try to move you into another performance time.

WEATHER UPDATE: At this time, we expect all performances of WAITRESS at the Aronoff Center this weekend to play as scheduled. In the unlikely event that would change, updates will be posted on our Facebook page and at CincinnatiArts.org and BroadwayInCincinnati.com. Anyone holding a ticket for a performance this weekend is welcome to exchange at no cost into a performance next week. Subscribers can exchange online up to 15 minutes prior to their performance, or call 800.294.1816 (Friday extended hours 9am-6:30pm.) Single ticket buyers can contact the Aronoff Center Ticket Office at 513.621.2787 (ARTS) to exchange (Friday 9am-5:30pm.) Xavier University Alum Michael Palascak Headlining at Go Bananas

MISC_Michael Palascak headshotMichael Palascak is returning to Cincinnati this week at Go Bananas Comedy Club this ThursdaySunday.

Michael, a Xavier University alum, is a comedian, writer and actor based in LA. He’s done stand-up on Letterman, CONAN, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central’s HALF HOUR and most recently was a top 5 Finalist on LAST COMIC STANDING.

Roseanne Barr said of Michael, “This is a guy who could star in a sitcom” and Norm Macdonald said Michael reminds him, “…of a guy that’s just as funny offstage as on, which is like magic.”

The Hills Are Alive! A brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC is coming to Dayton. The spirited, romantic and beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony-, Grammy-, and Academy Award-winning Best Score, including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “Edelweiss,” and the title song. THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by The Trapp Family Singers by Maria Augusta Trapp. THE SOUND OF MUSIC enjoyed extraordinary success as the first live television production of a musical in over 50 years when “The Sound of Music Live!” aired on NBC in December 2013 and was seen by over 44 million people. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.
