Have you ever wondered what other fun and mischief Santa’s elves get into at the North Pole? Join KRT for an original Christmas story and night full of music! NAUGHTY OR NICE: A CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR follows Elfo 1 and Elfo 2 as they help Clark and Rori, a young couple in need of a boost in Christmas spirit, and their encounters with the citizens of the North Pole as they find renewed joy in the season. After recruitment into the North Pole’s annual Christmas pageant, will Clark and Rori find their hearts growing three sizes this year?

Auditions Announced for MISCAST at Troy Civic Theatre

TROY_logoEver wanted to perform a song from a show but you aren’t exactly who they’re looking to cast? Well then, Troy Civic Theatre is proud to announce auditions for our first ever MISCAST!

This is your chance to perform a piece of musical theatre that you normally wouldn’t be cast for due to age, race, gender, or any other reason.

Director Derek Dunavent is asking you to come audition with up to three songs you wish to have the chance to perform. Please provide you own accompaniment (YouTube is a great source) and prepare a 30 second selection from each song for audition.

Acts will be picked based on response and availability. There will be six rehearsals before the performances on December 17th and 18th.

Solos, Duets, and Groups welcomed!

Nov. 22 & 23 from 7-10pm

Cast Announced for BEEHIVE at the Covedale Center

CCPACincinnati Landmark Productions has announced the cast for their upcoming production of BEEHIVE.

The cast includes:

  • Tia Seay as Gina
  • Molly Sexton as Alison
  • Ashton Francis as Laura
  • Kaitlin McCulloch as Wanda
  • Cassidy Steele as Pattie
  • Tina DeAlderete as Jasmine

Directed by Jay Goodlett, with music direction by Jacob Priddy and choreography by Jenny Goodlett.

Performances run Jan. 27-Feb. 20.

Online Auditions Announced for THE SUNSHINE BOYS at Fairfield Footlighters

fflFairfield Footlighters announces auditions for THE SUNSHINE BOYS written by Neil Simon and directed by Richard Zenk. This classic comedy concerns two retired vaudeville performers, Al Lewis and Willie Clark (aka ‘The Sunshine Boys’), who reunite to perform their famous sketch ‘The Doctor Will See You Now’ on a network TV special. The two leads, Al and Willie, were cast in 2020.CHARACTERS:

  • Ben Silverman (20-35 – supporting) – Willie’s nephew and only living relative; an entertainment agent, frequently driven to heart palpitations by his frustration with his uncle, whom he looks after
  • Patient (any age – cameo) – A member of the doctor sketch, one of the Sunshine Boys’ most famous acts
  • Eddie (20-35; cameo) – The young and efficient assistant TV director at CBS
  • Nurse (20-35; cameo) – A young woman, playing a burlesque nurse in the Sunshine Boys’ doctor sketch

Rehearsals in Clifton or Fairfield begin the week of January 16, 2022 to prepare for February 25-27 performances. All cast and crew must be fully vaccinated and show their COVID vaccine card. Cast and crew can wear masks during rehearsals. The cast would not wear their masks during tech week or performances.

Email your resume, headshot, and rehearsal conflict dates to the director (richardjoseph@gmail.com) by November 30th. He will then provide you with one or more audition sides. You can perform the sides in a Zoom session with the director live or record the sides with another person who is off-camera.
