Cast members of the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON will take a break from the show to perform an evening of Broadway show tunes as a benefit fundraiser for the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater on Monday, July 30 at 8pm.
The performers will sing some of Broadway’s best, from timeless classics to songs that they use at auditions to land their coveted roles. The night of music promises to thrill, move and completely entertain the audience.
“‘A Broadway Cabaret,” featuring the cast of the national tour of the THE BOOK OF MORMON, is presented by TriHealth. All proceeds from the evening will support Cincinnati Landmark Productions and the artistic programming of the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater.
Tickets for the benefit concert go on sale Monday, July 9 at 11am.
Two ticket levels are available:
- VIP tickets – $100 each, includes a seat in the reserved premium section of the theater, two drink tickets and admittance to a special pre-event meet-and-greet reception with the cast
- Patron tickets – $50 each, includes one drink ticket and a standard seat in the theater
“I grew up on the west side of Cincinnati and saw my first-ever live theatrical production at Westwood Town Hall,” said cast member, Broadway veteran and event organizer Ron Bohmer. “Nothing makes me happier than to see theater flourishing on the west side of Cincinnati and the Incline is the pinnacle of that flourish. And nothing would make me and my Broadway pals from Mormon happier than to help solidify the Incline’s place on Cincinnati’s list of great nights out on the town!”
THE BOOK OF MORMON opens at Aronoff Center on July 31 and runs through August 5.
The Warsaw Federal Incline Theater opened in June 2015 and is a new, purpose-built, 229-seat performing arts center and parking garage in the Incline District in East Price Hill. Located at the corner of Matson Place and West 8th Street, the $6 million project was finished on time and on budget. All 45 performances during its debut summer season were sold out.
