RING OF FIRE Burbon Tastings

Jan. 22, Jan. 29, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Bourbon specialist John Ford, owner/proprietor of The Littlefield, will host a bourbon tasting before all Thursday performances of RING OF FIRE: THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH. Tastings highlight a flight of three bourbons, perfectly paired with delicious bites from The Littlefield Chef Shoshannah Hafner. Find out how to sample bourbons and the interesting histories behind these brown liquors!

Tasting Menu:

First pairing:
Maker’s Mark – classic, wheated
Smoked chicken with parsnip puree, onion jam and bitter greens

Second pairing:
Woodford Reserve Double Oak – Kentucky bourbon staple
Braised pork belly with crimson hash and braising jus reduction

Third pairing:
George Remus Rye Whiskey – New, spicy, local whiskey
Spice cake with brown butter butter cream, bitter sweet ganache and bourbon spiced pears

Seating is limited. Cost is $22, plus your ticket to the show. Tastings must be purchased via the Playhouse Box Office at 513-421-3888.
