Characters

  • Margot Wendice – a wealthy housewife
  • Max Halliday – American television crime writer, Margot’s former lover
  • Tony Wendice – Margot’s husband, former tennis pro
  • Captain Lesgate – Tony’s classmate at Cambridge, formerly known as Swann
  • Inspector Hubbard – police detective
  • Thompson – a policeman
    The roles of Margot and Lesgate will be VERY physical parts.

Plots:

DIAL ‘M’ FOR MURDER: Tony’s plot to murder his wife Margot for her money goes awry when Margot kills her would be assassin in self-defense. So Tony shifts his plans and schemes to frame Margot for premeditated murder of the intruder. Can Margot’s ex-lover Max solve the mystery and discover the truth before Margot is hanged for the crime? A thrilling, suspenseful piece that will keep you guessing until the last moment!

THE WHALES OF AUGUST: The tender story of two elderly widowed sisters spending a summer in a seaside house in Maine. As they wait for the whales to return, they recall their relationship as young women, and the summers they had enjoyed there in the past. The tender drama shows us a window into living every moment to the fullest in the Fall of life.

This Ohio Premier of an original comedy will have you feeling you made an actual visit to Ireland.  Follow our fictitious Mayor of Sharonville, Ohio, Charlie McConnell, as he takes his wife on a 30th anniversary trip to Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland.  He’s conducting a little business in trying to secure Carrickfergus as a Sister City to Sharonville and as a bonus give his wife a vacation.  In true Irish fashion there is more to the story as wife; Eleanor has some plans of her own.  Who is this mysterious Tinker Doyle that she is looking for and what other interesting things are happening in this small Irish town?

Come enjoy the antics of the Irish pub goers along with Irish musicians and the McGing Irish dancers as Eleanor searches for Tinker Doyle!
