THE BELLE OF AMHERST (October) Written by William Luce. Directed by Mike McVey. Featuring Claire Squance.
“In The Belle Of Amherst, Emily Dickinson welcomes audiences into her lifelong Amherst homestead in mid-19th century Massachusetts. LOST IN YONKERS (February) Written by Neil Simon. Directed by Tyler Gau.
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1991. “By America’s great comic playwright, this memory play is set in Yonkers in 1942. Bella is 35-years-old, mentally challenged and living at home with her mother, stern Grandma Kurnitz. As the play opens, ne’r do-well son Eddie deposits his two young sons on the old lady’s doorstep. He is financially strapped and taking to the road as a salesman. ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID (May) Written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. Directed by Carly Jo Baumgartner.
