ANGEL STREET runs May 11-20

ANGEL STREET
Presented by Lebanon Theatre Company
May 11-20
Lebanon

A Broadway hit first produced on the West End under the title GASLIGHT and filmed twice, ANGEL STREET tells the story of the Manninghams who live on Angel Street in 19th Century London.

As the curtain rises, all appears the essence of Victorian tranquility. It is soon apparent however, that Mr. Manningham, a suavely handsome man, is not what he appears to be. When a caller from Scotland Yard visits Mrs. Manningham during one of Mr. Manningham’s many unexplained absences, pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place. Author Patrick Hamilton has built and sustained some of the most brilliant, suspenseful sequences in modern theatre.

  • Fri, May 11 at 8pm, includes 6:30pm dinner
  • Sat, May 12 at 8pm
  • Sun, May 13 at 2pm
  • Fri-Sat, May 18-19 at 8pm
  • Sun, May 20 at 2pm

LTC Announces Bob Fritzsch Memorial

Our upcoming production of ANGEL STREET by Patrick Hamilton will be a very special one for Lebanon Theatre Company. Our long-time set designer Bob Fritzsch passed away last December, but before his death, he had designed the set for ANGEL STREET. As a tribute to Bob, our May 12 performance will include a special presentation to his family and the unveiling of a permanent display of his set designs. We look forward to both weekends of the show which will be performed in his honor.

If any of the many groups that Bob designed for throughout his career would like to donate to this permanent display, we would appreciate it. The display is going to cost between $1500 and $2000. Any group (or individual) that donates will be acknowledged in the exhibit.
