The internationally popular game is now a fun-filled, family-friendly musical which brings the world’s best know suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon. Which of the 216 possible solutions will the audience choose!? Only one hard nosed female detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem.

SEEKING: 10:00 A.M.
Bob Wallace – (28-35) Good actor (gruff & deeply kind)
Good dancer (jazz, some tap)
Singer (baritone, crooner)

Phil Davis – (28-35) Excellent Dancer (ballroom, jazz, tap)
Good actor/singer (baritenor)
Charming, fun-loving

Betty Hayes – (25-29) Good actor/singer
Rich chest with soprano extension

Judy Hayes – (early 20s) Excellent Dancer (ballroom, jazz, tap)
Good singer (chest mix), flirty

Martha – (40-60) Excellent actor/singer (mid-range belt/chest mix)

General Waverly – (55-65) Retired U.S. Army General

Rita & Rhoda – (18-35) Brash, sexy star chorus pals

Susan Waverly – (9-12) The General’s granddaughter. She is lovable and outgoing.

Dancers and Ensemble – Strong in ballroom, jazz, & tap. Good singers.

Ornery, strong-willed widow Daisy Wertham has just demolished another car, leaving her son no recourse but to hire her a driver. His chosen chauffeur? Hoke, a thoughtful, unemployed black man who couldn’t seem to have less in common with his wealthy, Jewish client. The odd couple endure humorous and heartwarming struggles in their forced relationship, giving way over twenty-five years to a closeness and understanding that transcends the Civil Rights era in the Deep South.

CAST BREAKDOWN –

  • Mr. Boddy – Charismatic, handsome, playful host of the game. Baritone/Tenor
  • Professor Plum – Intellectual with a wry sense of humor. Baritone
  • Colonel Mustard – Pompous military man. Baritone
  • Mr. Green – Sleek, handsome, wheeler-dealer. Baritone/Tenor
  • Detective – Hard-nosed, humorous female. Role requires character singing.
  • Mrs. Peacock – Manipulative, sexy socialite. Mezzo with belt
  • Miss Scarlet – Shrewd, very attractive. Wide range with belt
  • Mrs. White – Fun loving, Cockney maid. Alto with character belt

Prepare 16 bars of a standard musical theatre song (ballad or up-tempo song), bring sheet music in appropriate key.
