Adopted as an infant, Tamara Covington struggles both emotionally and psychologically. She left home as a teenager to search for her birth-mother, who she heard was homeless and living on the streets. During her search, Tamara goes through devastating and painful episodes of abuse, separation, and near-death experiences. Now homeless herself, she uses alcohol to give her courage on the mean streets of Chicago and watches her life spiral down to rock bottom. Only the gift of her mother’s touch can save her now.

A dramatic courtroom saga between a revengeful County Prosecutor and the single mother whose son he is attempting to send to prison. Holding nothing back for the sake of justice, the mother of the accused defends him most aggressively and in a manner that is unheard in a modern court of law.
