Free CPI Cold Reading of Full-Length Play

Date: Sunday, October 23, 2011, 7:00 PM (CPI SALON)

THE MUSINGS OF MEN by Joe Bobbitt & Doug Decatur.

A humorous look at five buddies, meeting for poker and golf, discussing women and the problems the men encounter in their relationships. We have a good group of actors who will read the script.

The venue is FREE, but we ask guests to bring appetizers or beverages to share.

Location: 2815 commons Way 45219, French Hall on UC Campus. Room 2225 (ground floor).

Casting Call: Actress in 70s needed for GENERATIONS PASSING

CPI is looking for a volunteer actress in her 70s to play the character of a woman in her late 80s.

This will be a staged reading at the Aronoff Center, Fifth-Third bank Theater on October 11, 2011.
There will be about seven rehearsals.
Actors for the most part remain on book.

Description: MARTHA (age 87), soft spoken and physically frail, mother of DAVE (age 65) and PHIL (age 62).

A New Play in Two Acts

Synopsis
Two brothers meet to clean out their mother’s home. She was placed in a home for Alzheimer’s patients. One of the brothers is also showing signs. “This is something that gets through roofs and locked doors and organized effort. Nature still claims its victims.”
