Call for Directors for 2024-2025 Season at Cincinnati Music Theatre

CMT_logoAttention all directors: CMT’s Creative Committee is now taking director submissions for the 2024-2025 season! Be a part of CMT’s 60+ year legacy and bring your vision to life at one of the city’s best venues. 

We stage two large-scale MainStage Series* productions and three cabaret-style Studio Series* productions each season and will be taking submissions until October 15th. 

Directors, please submit electronic presentations, staff**, and resume to Karen Galliers Hendershot, VP Creative at creative@cmtmail.org no later than midnight, October 15, 2023. 

*All slots are open and all submissions will be considered.

**If you will be requiring an Assistant Director, they must be included in your pitch.

Auditions Announced for THE WORLD GOES ROUND at Cincinnati Music Theatre

CMT_Studio Series logo2Director Megan Horton and Producers Karen Hendershot & Mary Stone are proud to announce auditions for our February 2024 Studio Series Production of THE WORLD GOES ROUND.

A musical revue showcasing the songs of John Kander and Fred Ebb with familiar songs from Chicago and Cabaret as well as songs from more unknown works like Funny Lady and The Rink. Filled with humor, romance, drama, and nonstop melody, THE WORLD GOES ROUND teaches us that no matter what life throws at us, our lives keep going and the world keeps turning.

Auditions will take place Oct. 13 from 6:30-9:30pm & Oct. 14 from 2-5pm.

Performances run Feb. 9-17.
