It’s time to meet the much-loved Heeler family, who are returning to Cincinnati by popular demand with the Bluey live show, Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show! The Emmy® Award-winning animated preschool series, which airs on Disney Junior, Disney Channel, and Disney+, will be “taking the show on the road” to the Aronoff Center’s Procter & Gamble Hall on Saturday, January 2 and Sunday, January 3, 2027 (see full performance schedule below). The show is part of the Cincinnati Arts Association’s 2026-27 Season.

19 Gen Alpha Summer Campers Take to the Stage in this Imaginative and Contemporary Adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s ‘The World of Oz’

Cincinnati, OH – Know Theatre of Cincinnati and InBocca Performance are pleased to announce the premiere of The Road to Oz, a devised theatre production created by the Know Theatre/InBocca Performance Summer Theatre Youth Education Program. Inspired by the work of L. Frank Baum, this modern adaptation is made possible by the generous support of H.B., E.W. & F.R. Luther Charitable Foundation, the Charles H. Dater Foundation, Priscilla O’Donnell and West Shore Home.

Dorothy has returned to Oz, but nothing is quite the way she left it – Glinda now rules Oz with an iron fist and has forbidden the use of magic by anyone but her! With Oz seemingly falling to ruin and her beloved companions vanished, Dorothy and a set of newfound friends embark on a mission to defeat Glinda and return magic for everyone. Can they bring Oz back to life?

Researched, written and choreographed by the team of campers and counselors, this new, socially-conscious, movement-based piece of theatre is being created over the month of July and asks the questions: ‘What is community?’ ‘How are we stronger together?’ and ‘What kind of world do we want to live in?’ The production, under the direction of Caroline Stine, stars the 19 children of the camp in collaboration with local performers and teaching artists: Erica Kruse (scenic/graphic design), Perry Hensley (movement/direction), Rachael Hawkins (playwrighting), Krista Noll (choreography and costume design), and Daniela Nenova (scenic/art design).

Gravity & Other Myths – eight acrobats and one musician – investigate physical skill; how we obtain it, how we perfect it, and how it can transform our lives. Through highlighting the nuance of high-level acrobatics, audiences experience a heightened appreciation of the countless hours required to master the skills they are witnessing. Set to a driving, dynamic, and intricate musical score using percussion/drums live on-stage, Ten Thousand Hours is a revelry of the distinct physical language that defines GOM and a celebration of the pursuit of mastery.

This is a love letter to our bodies and the amazing things they let us do every day, and an acknowledgement of the backstory that is often more spectacular than the finished product.

Gravity & Other Myths (GOM) is a circus company with roots in Adelaide, Australia, which utilizes an honest approach to performance to create work with a focus on human connection and acrobatic virtuosity. Through this, it hopes to maintain an exceptional and diverse artistic program. After forming in 2009 as a group of young Adelaide artists with a passion for circus and physical theatre, the company has spent the past thirteen years growing steadily and creating six critically acclaimed main stage works.

[Cincinnati, OH]  Be a part of the team of guest services professionals at the Tristate’s premiere arts venues – the Aronoff Center and Music Hall. The Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA) is pleased to present a JOB FAIR on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM at the Aronoff Center’s Otto M. Budig Lobby (main lobby), located downtown at 650 Walnut Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets. Job seekers may attend either of two convenient shifts to learn about available part-time employment opportunities and interview on the spot. CAA is looking for people with outgoing personalities to fill a variety of positions that offer flexible schedules based on applicants’ availability.

Starting in September, part-time positions at the Aronoff Center and Music Hall will be available in the following guest services areas:   Front of House/Audience Services, Event Safety, Guest Relations Representatives, and Custodial Services. Interested job seekers will be able to speak with venue supervisors and members of CAA’s Human Resources Department to learn more about specific jobs. 

“We have been overwhelmed by our past Job Fairs, which attracted hundreds of applicants and resulted in the hiring of many new part-time employees, some of whom are still with us,” said Brenda Carter, CAA’s Vice President, Human Resources. “CAA is committed to serving individuals who are interested in part-time employment in the downtown and Over-the-Rhine area, and who want to work in a fun, artistic environment.  The Aronoff Center and Music Hall have a solid reputation for excellent Guest Services, and we are excited to have new faces join our team!”

They Are The Champions –The Team Behind WE WILL ROCK YOU

Director / choreographer Leslie Goddard returns to Memorial Hall to helm WE WILL ROCK YOU following celebrated pre -pandemic stagings of RING OF FIRE and The Who’s TOMMY at the historic venue. A Broadway veteran whose credits include HAIRSPRAY and the Las V egas residency of JERSEY BOYS, Goddard is the Theatre Director of Cincinnati’s McNicholas High School. She teams once again with renowned local music director and UC College -Conservatory of Music (CCM) faculty member Steve Goers, who leads a band comprised of some of the Queen City’s top rock musicians. WE WILL ROCK YOU is produced by Memorial Hall director and two -time League of Cincinnati Theatres “Best Musical of the Year” winner Joshua Steele.

The lead roles in WE WILL ROCK YOU, inspired by the Queen classic “Bohemian Rhapsody,” are Galileo and Scaramouche, teenagers seeking their identities in a future where individualism is outlawed. The real – life ingenues are newcomers to the Cincinnati theat re scene in Isaiah Burton and Mary Mills, a current student and recent graduate of Northern Kentucky University’s School of the Arts (NKU), respectively. That university indeed looms large in the production, which also features NKU and CCM voice instructor Bethany Xan Jeffrey as the villainous Killer Queen, graduate Heather Hale (Oz) and musical theatre students Anyuli Martinez -Gomez, Mabrey Rice, Logan Duerk and Dylan Maynard in the show’s ensemble. The cast also gets a lift from a host of veteran and in -demand actors. Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati and Know Theatre standout Rory Sheridan plays uniformity enforcer Kash, opposite hippie spiritual leader and longtime Cincinnati Shakespeare Company favor ite Billy Chace* as Buddy.
