Presented by New Edgecliff Theatre
Sept. 25-Oct. 11
Northside

Directed by Lindsey Mercer

Cast: Kemper Florin as Diane, Nic Pajic as Mitchell Green, Jared Earland as Alex & Erin Ward as Ellen

Can modern love survive in the face of our tabloid driven age? Where big stars jump around like heartsick schoolboys, audiences don’t care about true love. What we really love is all that dish! The players here include a hard-driving Hollywood agent, her budding screen idol client who could hit big if it weren’t for one teensy-weensy problem – she can’t seem to keep him in the closet or away from the cute rent boy who’s caught his eye and the rent boy’s girlfriend (wait, the rent boy has a girlfriend?). Will there be a happy ending as the final credits roll?

I LOVED, I LOST, I MADE SPAGHETTI
Presented by Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park
Sept. 27-Nov. 2
Eden Park

Directed by Rob Ruggiero

Cast: Antoinette LaVecchia as Giulia

Giulia Melucci’s memoir has been described as a foodie’s dream version of Sex and the City or Eat, Pray, Love with recipes. Now, the popular book becomes a hilarious play. For Giulia, a new date is the perfect opportunity to show off her Italian home cooking. While preparing a three-course dinner from scratch, she recounts stories of good food and bad boyfriends. Her superior tasting cuisine far surpasses her inferior taste in men in this mouth-watering new comedy. Appropriate for adults and older teenage audiences. It contains strong adult language, some talk associated with adult romantic relationships and several stories of very bad boyfriends.
