In a small, God-fearing church on a street corner in Harlem, devout pastor Margaret Anderson is confronted with her complicated past.  Her estranged husband returns provoking conflict in her family putting their son at a crossroads.  Will Margaret find forgiveness? Will the congregation accept the complexities of life? Or will both remain unyielding in their religious convictions?  James Baldwin’s scalding and exultant masterpiece of the modern American theatre, proves it is faith and the love we have for our community that sees us through.

Originally presented by the Guthrie Theatre, this multi-image dramatic staging received rave reviews when it was toured with Leonard Nimoy playing the one extraordinary role. The excitement and color of Van Gogh’s life and art enhance this production through the projection of images that are carefully designed to add impact to the words. As the Variety critic put it, “The actor doesn’t have the stage to himself. He plays against the celebrated artist’s brilliant [work].” The total effect is dazzling. You will see Vincent Van Gogh in a new light as his life unfolds before you through the letters he shared with his brother, Theo.

The Sun’ll come out…tomorrow! The classic hit musical Annie comes to brilliant life this winter. Everyone’s favorite redhead charms everyone she meets in 1930s New York City. Dropped on the doorstep of an orphanage years ago, Annie longs to meet her true parents while escaping the wrath of orphanage owner Miss Hannigan. When the gruff billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to join him for Christmas, her dreams of family come to life in unexpected ways, befriending President Franklin D Roosevelt, foiling Miss Hannigan, and finding home in unexpected places. Annie the Musical is the perfect musical for the entire family. Featuring classic songs like “Tomorrow”, “Maybe”, and Miss Hannigan’s not-so-loving ode to the orphans she looks after: “Little Girls”.

Who’s the cleverest cat in the kingdom? Who else? Puss in Boots! Tom, the miller’s son, is left his father’s cat for an inheritance. He expected to get the family mill. Unfortunately, that went to his bossy elder sister, Gabrielle. The cat, however, is no one’s fool. He promises that if Tom gets him a pair of boots he will make his fortune. Once he has the footwear and becomes Puss In Boots, the cat sets out on an amazing adventure. It involves meeting the King, the Queen and the lovely Princess Pam, who Puss thinks will make a nice wife for his master! There is only one real obstacle to the cat’s brilliant scheming — The Great Ogre! This scary creature lives in a magnificent castle high on a mountaintop. He eats trees and keeps prisoners in the dungeon, where they are fed nothing but oyster crackers. By the final curtain, all of the cat’s plans have come to pass, and we’ve met a hilarious cast of characters, including the Ogre’s giggling bride-to-be and her snobbish mother, the Ogre’s servants and his comical dog, who’d like a new owner.

In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion. Considered one of the scariest moments ever.
