Rose is a young Mexican migrant, abandoned and lost in turbulent 1930s California. She clings to Margaret Thomas, a Kansas farm wife displaced by the Dust Bowl. Together, they grieve a lost family and search for home and healing in the midst of unrelenting hardships. Could John Bollen, the generous wheat farmer down the road, be a savior for them both? A powerful journey of the heart unfolds for three people who find their lives intertwined, each desperate to heal the past and embrace a new future.  Lush, full-bodied orchestrations and soaring melodies take us back to the sweeping wheat fields of America’s Great Plains. With its cast of vibrant characters, this thoughtful script is packed with heart-rending drama, laugh-out-loud humor, and gentle romance.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Mozart’s riveting masterpiece follows Don Giovanni, a man who uses people without a care for their hearts, or the consequences. All the while, the Don’s servant Leporello records his master’s misdeeds. By killing the father of a woman he’s attacked, Giovanni sets in motion events that could lead to his end. Will he get away with his unrepentant pursuit of selfish desire? Or will there be hell to pay? Sung in Italian with projected English translations.

Cast Announced for CRIMES OF THE HEART at The Drama Workshop

CRIMES OF THE HEART is a Pulitzer Prize winning drama by Beth Henley. The three Magrath sisters reunite at Old Grandaddy’s home in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, after one of the sisters, Babe,shoots her abusive husband. Past resentments bubble to the surface as the sisters are forced to deal with assorted relatives and past relationships while coping with Babe’s latest incident. Each sister is forced to face the consequences of the “crimes of the heart” she has committed.
