Casting Call for Full Feature Romantic Comedy, FIRST IMPRESSIONLESS

Local Independent film groups and are teaming up for the Production of a fully original story known as “First Impressionless”, planned to release in 2012. This project is bringing together film talent from Northern Kentucky to Northeast Dayton, to create well rounded and very talented team. Auditions will be held in Dayton, Northern Cincinnati, and Covington KY. We will work with you to find the best audition time.

— SUMMARY —
“First Impressionless” is the story of two actors named JENNIFER LOVELYNN and JEFFERY RITE. JEFF is known as the Actor that made “Asshole” lovable and
JENN is The Actress that is known for clearly sharing what she wants, and demands she gets it. Despite their friendly, quirky, and entertaining personalities, they continually denied having found love at first sight, because neither had the guts to admit it

Having met on the set of a low budget film, JENN and JEFF had an unforgettable first Impression on everyone in their lives. After years apart, countless failed relationship attempts, and successful careers, The now HOLLYWOOD stars are reunited for the production of the movie’s SEQUEL.

Still rejecting fate, the two try their best to remain IMPRESSIONLESS to one another. They followed all the rules, played all the games, and never crossed a single line… until waiting patiently became too much of a burden to bear., Their Director and his Production assistant make a pact to to stop at nothing to show JENN and JEFF that the perfect person for both of them is right in front of their eyes.

Having failed at their countless attempts to give the other the hint that they are interested, They both decide to stop at nothing and hunt each other down for a second chance at an honest FIRST IMPRESSION.

— CHARACTER ROLES OPEN —

– BOB the DIRECTOR
An older mature individual. Has a sort of Quirky way with explaining heartfelt points. Bob is the Director that despite his crude use of words, hopes for the best for everyone with his constantly obnoxious words of wisdom… However, Bob’s advice is usually right.

– P.J.
The Young nerdy Production Assistant and everyones “Project”. A guy that sees the best in all the troubled souls around him in hollywood.

– BRETT (JENN’S HUSBAND)
A lawyer suffering from illness. A professional uptight businessman. A workaholic type individual who probably hid his cold personality under expensive suits for years.

– JAINE (JEFF’S WIFE)
A feisty, obnoxious, shopaholic who probably spends her days at the salon, mall, and enjoying her recent boob job.

– LILLY
A nerdy fan girl type that worships P.J.

– INTERVIEWER
Should have a nice or interesting voice fit for interviewing.

Actor Needed for MLT’s KEELY & DU

We are currently searching for a man who can play 40s-50s for the role of Walter. The leader of the church responsible for the abduction of Keely. Smart, reserved but has a temper when provoked. Believes in his mission and his church.

Synopsis of Play
Du, a right to life activist, and Keely, a pregnant rape victim she is confining, transcend their circumstances and the ideological issues that separate them. KEELY & DU is a mind probing issue play with a gripping human face. Who is accountable? What is the extent of individual freedom? What are a rape victim’s rights? What are a Christian’s realities of procreation? Their passionate stories exist on the extreme edge of everyday reality.

The rehearsal period is very short and begins at the end of December with an opening date of January 21. We are looking to cast someone immediately. The rest of the show has been cast and includes: Bett Kooris as Du and Kaleigh-Brooke Dillingham as Keely. The show is Directed by Brent Myer.

Talent Needed for Online Retail Business Marketing Video

New online retail company is looking for 3 -4 people to act in an upcoming shoot of a short marketing video (30 seconds to one minute) to be used on YouTube and will be sent to TV/RADIO Talk Shows for publicity opportunities.

**1 – 2 Females needed****2 – 3 Males needed**

MUHTheatre Seeking Performers of All Types

Miami University Hamilton WoRkShoP Theatre presents KABARAY WITH A ‘K’.

MUHTheatre is looking for performers of all types to be in this cabaret/vaudeville-styled production.

There are 3 ways to perform in this unique performance venue:

  • Audition to be a member of the Kabaray Ensemble.
    Audition to reserve a spot to present your unique talent in an exciting new venue and forum. We are looking for group acts as well as solo performers.*
  • The Kabaray Ensemble are players performers who:
    –Can either sing, dance or act or all three. If you are chosen to be in the ensemble, you will play characters in scenes, short plays and musical numbers and play games with the audience.
    –Rehearsals will begin in earnest in March of 2012 (3-4 nights per week).
    –For planning and improvisational work, the ensemble will meet 1 or 2 times per month between November 2011 and the beginning of our rehearsal period in February 2012.
  • Guest Artists are performers who:
    –Can sing, act, dance, rap, do standup, write poetry, prose, music, plays or anything, belly dance, play violin, guitar, banjo, drums, bass, trumpet, clarinet, bassoon, spoons— anything. juggle, hog-call, do bird calls, yodel, recite classic or not so classic literature, clog, sword-swallow–anything that might appear in a modern vaudeville show.
    –If you are chosen to be a guest performer, you may choose to be in any number of our performances. There are six of them. How many of them you appear in is up to you.
    –Rehearsal time will be quite light for our guests performers.
    –If you have a CD, painting, book, or the like to sell, you can make your stuff available for purchase in our lobby.

–> –>–> Musicians for ‘Special K’ the Kabaray Band:
–Looking for Guitars, Bass, Violin, any kind of keyboard instrument and percussion.
–These will be paid positions.
–If you are a member of the band, you may still audition for a guest artist spot.

WHEN? Saturday, November 19, 2011 – 6-8pm-ish

WHAT WILL I DO? Perform onstage at a benefit by singing one or more of your
favorite songs for an appreciative (and captive) audience. Solos, duets,
trios, etc. are welcome!

WHAT’S THE ACCOMPANIMENT? Piano, bass and drums (pro pit group).

WHAT’S THE REPETOIRE? Broadway, standards, 50’s-70’s pop/rock. See

WHAT WOULD I WEAR? Something non-jeans, band will be in black/black.

REHEARSALS? None scheduled, you can drop be early that afternoon
(1pm-2pm-ish as needed) and run your music with the band. It’s more of a
“have fun” vs. “formal concert” type of event for those that have a (some)
favorite song(s) that they can just jump in and perform!

AM I GETTING PAID? No, it’s a benefit, and they’re only charging
$25/plate..

WELL, WHAT ABOUT FREE FOOD? Oh yes! Every participant is welcome to a free
meal at the event.

CAN I STICK AROUND? Sure, root for the other performers, and they’ll have a
silent auction and a “not silent” (I’m not sure how to phrase that) auction..

CAN I BRING FRIENDS? Non-performers would have to pay to get in. Exceptions
could be made, but there won’t be a lot of excess space/chairs/tables available.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’M INTERESTED?

(859-727-1279), and we can pick out msuic that both you and I know.. I’ll
be setting up the time slots 5 minutes/song apart. You need to be there 15
minutes ahead of time to check in, sing your song(s), then stay for the
others, or run off, your choice!

If you like singing with a pro band to accompany you, you’ll have a great time!

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO DECIDE? I need to know by November 12, 2011.
