Actors Needed for BABY at Warsaw Federal Incline Theater

WFIT_Sign at night Cincinnati Landmark Productions is seeking to male performers for the Sophomore Summer Classic Season at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater for BABY.

Roles to be filled:

• Professor Weiss (male 35+ years of age)
• Dean Webber (male 45 – 50+ years of age)

Stage Manager Sought for WEST SIDE STORY at Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre

Cincinnati Landmark Productions, the parent theatrical organization for Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre is seeking to fill the position of Production Stage Manager for our 35th summer production, WEST SIDE STORY.

The Show: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the “American” Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.

The Production team: Tim Perrino, Director; Steve Goers, Music Director; Maggie Perrino, Choreographer

Requirements: Previous experience in stage management, company management and/or event coordination for live performances. Must be able to read and write and communicate effectively. Must have excellent time-management and problem solving skills.
Other Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and regular internet access/connection. Dependability is essential. Must be willing to work in a unique, collaborative, creative, dedicated, professional and fun environment.

Saturday, April 30th @ 10:00, 11:00 am, 1:00 and 2:00 pm
Sunday, May 1st @ 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 pm
Tuesday, May 3rd @ 5:00 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00 pm

What is CYPT? Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre (CYPT) provides a summer of great experience for performers and techies alike. Many of our members are now professional actors, singers, dancers, technicians and musicians. Others are Drama, Opera, Music Theatre, Voice, Music and Broadcasting majors at colleges all over the country. To date, over 2,200 teens have been a part of CYPT!

CYPT has produced 34 years of exciting shows, including: Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose, 42nd Street, Children of Eden, Hello Dolly, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Anything Goes, The Pajama Game, Godspell, Les Miserables, Crazy For You, The Wedding Singer, Grease, Footloose, Hairspray and many more!

CYPT is the recipient of the Post-Corbett Award for Outstanding Arts Organization, plus, the National Recreation and Parks Arts and Humanities Award, and the Ohio State Award for Best Student Program.

CYPT brings together 100 teens each summer, on stage and off. In 2015, participants came from 38 different schools, from all over the Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana region.

Capstone Pictures is associated with Miami University and has previously garnered much recognition for its films including 4 awards from the regional chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and The Rochester International Film Festival.

In past years Hollywood Director of Photography AJ Rickert-Epstein and gaffer Jake Hossfeld, whose recent credits include the George Clooney film, Ides of March have assisted in the production and are slated to participate this year as well.

CASTING CALL – The Dinner Detective Cincinnati

Now casting paid comedians and actors for Cincinnati’s “The Dinner Detective,” America’s largest Interactive Murder Mystery Comedy Dinner Show.

AUDITION DETAILS:

Auditions will be held from 12:00pm (noon)-2pm on Saturday, March 12th
If you cannot make the audition times, but think you would be right for the role, submit your material for consideration at a later date.
Those auditioning should EXPECT TO STAY FOR THE FULL TIME but could be released sooner.

Seeking:

Actors/Comedians ages 18-55, for hire as ensemble members.
ALL ENTHINICITIES ENCOURAGED TO AUDITION
Shows are year-round on most Saturday nights, ending by 9:30pm.
Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month.
Actors are not required to work every Saturday, as there will be a rotating cast.
Actors with improv experience are a plus.
Actors will be treated as professionals and expected to be professional.

Additional Details about The Dinner Detective

Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes required.
This is a paid position, and you will get tips in addition to your base pay.
No campy dialogue. This is an improv based show, with locations all across the US.
Time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
No weekly rehearsals required, you rehearse immediately before the show only when you are scheduled to work.
Public Shows are held at The Millennium Hotel in Downtown Cincinnati
Roles rotate depending on actor availability collected & scheduled on a 1 month basis.
