JOB TITLE: Recreation Supervisor I – Full-Time

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Recreation Facilities Director, performs professional and supervisory work in the administration and operation of recreation activities for Washington Township. Responsibilities include marketing, planning, organizing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and evaluating recreation programs and special events.
Coordinates and oversees special event preparation and marketing/promotional activities to include but not limited to children’s theatre, outdoor holiday lighting festival and additional community events. Responsible for guiding the artistic vision, managing production processes, and supervising staff and operations for a 300-seat children’s theatre.
SALARY RANGE: Starting base salary for this exempt position is $42,162, with the ability to progress to $55,494, plus excellent benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or college or university with a major in Arts Administration, Business Management, Communication, Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Recreation or a related field and three (3) years of successful experience in Arts Administration, Business Management, Communication, Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Recreation management including one (1) year of supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
Preferred candidate would have good supervisory and organizational skills. Also have the ability to plan, organize, lead and oversee activities and will possess strong customer service and team building skills.

Middletown Lyric Theatre
(CINCINNATI) – The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is once again offering acting classes for young performers ages 3 to 14, with a schedule of classes that will tap young imaginations in creative and confidence-building ways. Designed to strengthen communication skills and develop a sense of community, the classes will focus on individual and collective skill development in a fun and supportive environment.
Milford HS needs a tech director for its 2016-17 season. This person would be in charge of set design and construction (although we have a parent who can spearhead this), plus lighting and sound design. We can split the contract up if there are individuals who can only do one or two of the shows. This is a supplemental contract through the Milford Village Exempted School District, which requires a background check and the usual paperwork.
