AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
You must fill out an online audition form HERE. Once you fill out your audition form, you will be redirected to our sign-up genius page so that you may sign up for an audition slot.
We will be auditioning with sides from the script.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION:
Production: November 8, 9 & 15 @8pm – November 16 @3pm
All Day Rehearsal:  Saturday, November 2 – 10am
Rehearsal Schedule: We typically rehearse on a Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday rotation
Dress Rehearsals: November 4 – 7

NOTE FROM PLAYWRIGHT: The adult roles are open to actors of any gender or race/ethnicity. What is important is that the actors be able to “pass” as white. Character age range: 20’s – late 40’s.

ROLES AVAILABLE / CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

LOGAN – Female, Caucasian looking, the high school drama teacher that’s always pushing the envelope in potentially inappropriate ways. Earnest about theatre and proving herself.  “Woke,” vegan, nauseated at the mere mention of turkey. In her note on casting, playwright Larissa Fasthorse writes: “People of color that can pass as white should be considered” and we are very much encouraging actors who identify in this way to audition. Actor must have strong comedic skills & an adventurous sense of play.

JAXTON – Male, Caucasian looking, yoga practitioner/actor. Politically correct to a fault, a big one. He’s that confident guy everyone loves, but his logical PC thinking takes weird turns. Self-described “vegan ally.” In her note on casting, playwright Larissa Fasthorse writes: “People of color that can pass as white should be considered” and we are very much encouraging actors who identify in this way to audition. Actor must have strong comedic skills & an adventurous sense of play.

ALICIA – Female, brunette, Caucasian looking but has looks that would have been cast as ethnic in 1950s movies. Without guile. Sexy and hot, but not bright. In her note on casting, playwright Larissa Fasthorse writes: “People of color that can pass as white should be considered” and we are very much encouraging actors who identify in this way to audition. Actor must have strong comedic skills & an adventurous sense of play.

CADEN – Male, Caucasian looking, the academic. Awkward elementary school history teacher with dramatic aspirations but no experience. His dream is to have his plays performed by semi-professional actors. In her note on casting, playwright Larissa Fasthorse writes: “People of color that can pass as white should be considered” and we are very much encouraging actors who identify in this way to audition. Actor must have strong comedic skills & an adventurous sense of play.
