Cincinnati Ballet Presents GISELLE, Oct. 31-Nov. 3

Just in time for Halloween! Ballet’s most beloved ghost story at haunted Music Hall

CINCINNATI, OH (October 7, 2024) – Cincinnati Ballet presents Giselle at Music Hall, October 31 – November 3. The romantic tale with a supernatural twist tells the story of Giselle, a kind peasant girl with a weak heart who falls in love with Albrecht, a noble person in disguise. When his betrayal is discovered, it sets off a tragic chain of events that brings forth the iconic and vengeful ghosts known as the Willis.

Hailed as the most romantic classical ballet of all time with choreography from Devon Carney, Giselle is considered a masterwork in the classical canon that is both haunting and beautiful. With music from composer Adolphe Adam performed live by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, staged in the spectacular Music Hall, also hailed as one of the most haunted concert halls in America. A truly Cincinnati production, performances will also feature local arts lovers and social media influencers in the roles of the royal family, young performers from Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy, and a gorgeous Borzoi dog named Anya, who auditioned for and won the role of the hound of the hunt!

Tickets are on sale now, starting at $29 at cballet.org.
