Auditions Announced for WHAT THE BELLHOP SAW at RiverStage Community Theatre

RiverStage Community Theatre is pleased to announce auditions WHAT THE BELLHOP SAW, a hilarious farce by Billy Van Zant and Jane Milmore. “A antastic nightmare involving a Salman Rushdie-type author, a crazy terrorist, a vile wife from hell, a conniving bellboy, an incompenent mad maid, a dim-witted secretary, and a pig tailed girl”

Cast requirements:

8 Men ages mid 20’s to 50’s
3 women 2 mid 20’s – mid 30’s
1 Shrewish 40’s wife
10-12 girl

Audition dates:

Sunday March 11 from 1 to 4PM at Old School Auditorium, 212 Market St, New Richmond, Ohio
Tuesday March 13 from 7 to 9pm at Old School Auditorium, 212 Market St, New Richmond, Ohio

Cold readings from script, head shot and resume appreciated.

Rehearsals begin March 26^th Mon. and Wed. 7-9pm and Sun. 6-9pm (a break from 4/5-4/23)

RiverStage Community Theatre of New Richmond, Ohio was formed in 2013, and has won both Orchid and OCTA awards in acting and technical categories, and is a member of ACT Cincinnati.

New Richmond is located directly on the banks of the Ohio River, under 15 minutes from the I-275 loop along Scenic Ohio River Byway, US Hwy 52.

Loveland Stage Company Proudly Presents 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL

LSC_9to5 Loveland Stage Company (LSC) is proud to present 9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. 9 to 5 is based on the 1980 hit movie, of the same name, starring Dolly Parton. Set in the late 1970s, this is the story of an unexpected friendship, revenge, and a little romance.

This production is headed by first time LSC Director, Denise Schnieders and Producer Kate Arnold. With the help of Marjory Clegg (Choreographer), Tara Bridge (Vocal Direction) and Jeanne Bilyeu (Orchestral Director), the cast of 27, including several new faces to LSC as well as a number of Orchid Award winners, take the audience back to the 1970’s with the story of three coworkers who’ve had enough of being overlooked and chased around their boss’s desk because they are women. They hatch a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot of a boss, Mr. Hart. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains “otherwise engaged,” the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company and making it the best place to work inside or outside of Consolidated Industries.
