La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro, Ohio, is holding an open call audition for its upcoming production of DO PATENT LEATHER SHOES REALLY REFLECT UP at 9:00 AM Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 765 W. Central Ave., Springboro, Ohio.
Seeking Adult Men & Women (18+) who are excellent Singers and Actors for the following roles:
- EDDIE RYAN: Male 18-25. Worries about his physical appearance, his changing voice, girls, and his lack of academic success.
- FELIX LANDOR: Male 18-15. Not the brightest one, gullible, the guy who is always getting into trouble.
- MIKE DEPKI: Male 18-25. Tough, Athletic.
- LOUIE SCHLANG: Male 18-25. A friend to all, popular
- FATHER O’REILY: Male 30-60. No nonsense priest and teacher.
- BECKY BAKOWSKI: Female 18-25. Sweet, not the most popular, teased by the other girls.
- VIRGINIA LEAR: Female 18-25. Tough and sarcastic
- NANCY RALANSKY: Female 18-25. Popular, pretty, the one who gets all the boys attention.
- MARY KENNY: Female 18-25. Perfect student.
- SISTER LEE, SISTER HELEN, SISTER MONICA MARIE: Female 30-60. Nuns who run a disciplined classroom, quick with the rulers.
Be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song of a musical theatre song appropriate to the show.
