CINCINNATI, OH – November 29, 2015 —The Sunset Players brings together characters from two memorable children’s tales in DOROTHY MEETS ALICE at the Arts Center at Dunham as part of its annual children’s show.
Written by Joseph Robinette and produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing, Inc., DOROTHY MEETS ALICE is a delightful meeting of two of literature’s most famous young ladies after a young man puts off a book report until the last minute. He suddenly finds himself in a strange place somewhere between Oz and Wonderland. It becomes his responsibility to unscramble the stories and steer the familiar characters—including the Cowardly Lion, the Mad Hatter, the Scarecrow and the White Rabbit—to their ultimate destinations while avoiding the Wicked Witch and the Red Queen.
The cast includes:
- Zac Newman as Judson
- Emily Wessel as Alice
- Jenna Hoskins as Dorothy
- Allen Lindsey as the Mad Hatter
- Lizzie Braunstein as the White Rabbit
- Sarah Braunstein as the Scarecrow
- Sam Lindsey as the Tin Man
- Sara Moore as the Cowardly Lion
- Cassidy Dreier as the Dormouse
- Deb Case as the Wicked Witch
- Kennyce Russ as the Queen of Hearts
