Auditions Announced for LTC’s SMELL OF THE KILL

LTC_logoLebanon Theatre Company will be holding auditions for “The Smell of the Kill” by Michele Lowe. on  Jan. 18 and 19, 2015 at 7 p.m. each night.  Auditions will be at the Mechanic Street Playhouse and will consist of cold readings from the script.

The cast consists of 3 females and 3 males. The males are never seen, only heard. All 3 female roles are stage age mid-thirties to mid-forties.

  • Nicky:  She is the only working Mom of the three.  Her husband has been indicted for embezzlement.  He wants her to quit her job as a book editor,  which she absolutely loves  to use her pension  to pay his defense fees.  Because of this, she really hates him.  But she is putting up an air that everything is fine.
  • Debra:  She seems content to have given up her career in Real Estate, to be the perfect stay-at-home mom. But this  hasn’t stopped her husband from being a big womanizer.  He now wants to move Debra out of their home to move his latest conquest in.
  • Molly:  She really wants to have children and her husband is adoring, or so it seems.  In reality he is almost a stalker trying to keep tabs on her.  She wants to have a baby, but he won’t and hasn’t had sex with her for a very long time.  So Molly is currently having her fifth affair.

The husbands are only heard and never seen.  3 roles for men for voice only.
