Auditions Announced for Disneys’ FROZEN JR at Stage Right Musical Theatre Company

SRMTC_logoAuditions for our January 2023 production of Disney’s FROZEN JR are November 5th from Noon until 4pm.

Auditions will be held at First Love Community Fellowship at 930 Curry Lane, Dry Ridge (The church is located on the left about 1/2 mile past the outlet mall and Cracker Barrel).

Audition requirements:

  • One 16-32 measure of a son
  • One 30-60 second monologue
  • Be prepared for a cold reading from the script

Open to ages 8-18.

The production dates will be January 20 – 22 and 27 – 29 at Main Street Gardens in Williamstown.

From 3-time Grammy & Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden), comes an updated version of his original sensation, injected with modern references and dazzling new arrangements. A wide variety of storytelling techniques and an eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, bring an ancient story to life on stage. Boasting a score with chart-topping songs and a book by visionary playwright John-Michael Tebelak, this fresh portrayal of the life and parables of Jesus continues to touch audiences around the world. NOTE: Sundays are performance only and do not include a meal.

In person audition:
Sun, March 27 from 2-4pm
Main Street Gardens – 1418 N Main St, Williamstown, KY 41097

Audition requirements:

  • 60 second monologue
  • two 32 bar vocal selections in the style of the show (one up tempo, one ballad).
  • Headshot and resume and optional dance reel.
  • Performers should be 18+ years of age.

In person callbacks may be held at the theatre on March 27 from 2-4pm.

Casting a flexible ensemble with a stage-age of 20s-30s. All roles are paid positions.

Rehearsals evenings & weekends beginning June 13th

Performances: Weekends July 8 through July 24 at Main Street Gardens in Williamstown, Ky.

The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world! That’s a fact! So what happens when the worst kids in history come to sunday school and take leading roles in the Christmas pageant? Fighting in Bethlehem, cigar-smoking in the manger, and a town in panic! The Herdmans have never heard the Christmas story but they definitely have rewrites! It’s up to the pageant director to help everyone see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in this buoyant musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.
Friday & Saturday performances include dinner.

10/27/21 – It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that this weekend’s performances of THE 39 STEPS will be cancelled. If you already purchased tickets someone will be in touch shortly to take care of a refund. We look forward to seeing everyone out for our next production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever the Musical” running the first 3 weekends in December.
