The Passing of Dan Toon

RP_Dan ToonWe at Rivertown Players are heartbroken to hear of the passing of one of our original members, Dan Toon. In his time with Rivertown, Dan has participated in every way imaginable. From performing on stage, to directing, to serving on the Board of Directors, to singing in the Rivertown Chorus, Dan did it all. He even wrote and cowrote many of our Hillforest Murder Mysteries.

Aside from all the work and talent he gave to this organization, Dan was also a friendly face you could always count on. Many people considered him the unofficial welcoming committee of RTP. He greeted everyone with a smile and welcomed every new person.

The impact Dan had on Rivertown is insurmountable and he will be greatly missed. Please keep his wife Bev and his son Patrick in your thoughts.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church, Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 3 pm, with Pastor Ryan Goode officiating.

Anyone who has sung What Would I Do Without My Music is invited to sing at the end of the service. Music will be provided.
