Gilligan’s Island: The Musical is a family-friendly stage musical version of the ever popular and iconic 60’s TV comedy show “Gilligan’s Island.” Shipwrecked on a remote Pacific island, the seven castaways build huts and begin to explore their surroundings. They discover strange hieroglyphics in a spooky cave, which speak of an ancient legend. The weather gets rough, Gilligan foils the best-laid of the castaway’s rescue plans…romance develops…the castaways have an out-of-this-world encounter…it’s fun, wacky and entertaining with 18 original, tuneful and memorable songs.

Video Auditions Announced for GILLIGAN ISLAND The Musical at Kincaid Regional Theatre

KRT new_logoKincaid Regional Theatre in Falmouth, Kentucky is casting a non-union production of GILLIGAN’S ISLAND: The Musical with Words & Music by Hope and Laurence Juber, Book by Sherwood Schwartz and Lloyd J. Schwartz, and Based on the TV show “Gilligan’s Island” created by Sherwood Schwartz.

All actors will be paid a stipend rate.
Now accepting video submissions! Deadline to submit is Fri, April 12.

VIDEO PREPARATION:

  • Please prepare a 1-minute comedic monologue in the style of the show and 2 short contrasting songs of your choosing. Please attach a file of your videos or send a link in the body of the email.
  • Please attach a theatrical resume and headshot to the email.
  • Please include “Gilligan’s Island Audition” followed by your name in the subject line.
  • Please include all schedule conflicts for the months of June and July 2024 in the body of your email.
  • Please submit to the Producer at artisticdirector@kincaidstage.org. After submissions have been viewed, the Producer will notify each applicant. Casting offers will be made ASAP.

This seasonal celebration finds the girls entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party! Featuring great ’60s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland,” the result is, of course, marvelous! This energetic and glittering holiday package is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
