It is now 1942, and a reporter has come to interview Einstein about his mysterious family history, only to discover far more secrets under the surface. As the reporter questions Einstein about his theory of relativity and personal past, she develops a new, more pressing query: To be a great man, does one first need to be a good man?

The Passing of Fred Blumenthal

From the Dayton Theatre Guild’s Facebook page:

DTG_Fred BlumenthalIt is with great sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news that long-time Dayton Theatre Guild member, and long-time Dayton Theatre Community veteren, Fred Blumenthal passed away Monday, November 21, 2022.

With the exception of his service in the armed forces, Fred has been an active member at the Dayton Theatre Guild starting in 1953 at the age of 18.

An inductee into the Dayton Theatre Hall of Fame, Fred has appeared in or directed hundreds of theatre productions, at the Guild, The Human Race, the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis, and many other theatres, community and professional. He also appeared in several films.

Fred is certainly one of Dayton Theatre’s elder statesmen and we will miss him greatly.

More information will follow.

Rest in peace dear Fred.
