Cast Announced for ANYTHING GOES at Warsaw Federal Incline Theater

Directed by Bob Brunner with music direction by Ron Attreau and choreographed by Jeni Schwiers, the cast includes:

Actor Needed for Billy Flynn in CHICAGO at Warsaw Federal Incline Theater

Audition date: Saturday, February 6th Noon – 2pm.

Auditions will be held at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater, 801 Matson Place, Cincinnati, OH 45204 (East Price Hill).

Important Audition Information

  • Billy Flynn Male Supporting Baritone
  • Bring 16 – 32 bars of a song (30 seconds – 1 minute) of a song that best demonstrates vocal abilities.
  • Be prepared to read from the script.
  • Bring sheet music in the correct key.
  • There is some movement, but overall it’s not a dance role.
  • Must be able to play 30 to 50 years of age. You don’t have to be this age, but must be able to play this age range.
  • MUST HAVE A RESUME listing theatrical experience in order to audition.
  • A headshot/picture is appreciated.

Sound Board Operator Sought by Cincinnati Landmark Productions

CLPCincinnati Landmark Productions, the parent theatrical organization for The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts and the new Warsaw Federal Incline Theater is seeking a Sound Board Operator. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Basic Job Description: The sound board operator will run the sound board for half of the Cincinnati Landmark Productions’ performances. There are 14 productions a year and some special events throughout the year which will be split with our current sound board op.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Run the sound console as directed by the Sound Designer.
  • Attend all technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and performances in two venues – The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts and the new Warsaw Federal Incline Theater.
  • Run children’s series shows, any and all special events as scheduled.
  • Complete dimmer checks and sound check before the show and correct any problems, including, replacing batteries for wireless mic system, replacement of fixture lamps, touch up focus, check fluids in hazers, fog machines, etc….

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in running a sound board is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of theatre sound and lighting is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of all functions of sound board and how a system is put together.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age, have high school diploma or equivalency, some college preferred.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Candidate would have previous theatrical, technical experience (Preferred).
  • Must be able to work in an unsupervised environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, dependable, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must be willing and able to work nights and weekends of all performances.

Covedale Center for the Performing Arts shows run for 4 weeks on Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays 2pm. Call is 1 and ½ hour prior to showtime. Tech/dress rehearsals are in the evenings starting on the Sunday before opening.

Next Seasons Announced at West Side Theatres

Covedale Center and Warsaw Federal Incline Theater Boast
Exciting, Eclectic Titles Through Spring 2017

CLPCincinnati Landmark Productions announced its next 10 shows at its two theaters tonight at the annual Double Season Announcement party.

With the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater now open and the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts entering its 15th year, the west side theatre group is now producing year-around at the two venues. CLP designed three production seasons at the two theaters to appeal to current patrons and to reach new audiences.

Saturday night, the west-side theater group announced its 2016-17 Covedale Center ‘Marquee Series’ as well as the 2016-17 Warsaw Federal Incline Theater ‘District Series.’

The shows are:

Covedale Center Marquee Series, presented by Cincinnati Federal and TriHealth:

  • Godspell, September 8 – October 2, 2016
  • The Foreigner, October 20 – November 13, 2016
  • The Nights Before Christmas, December 1-23, 2016
  • Doubt, January 19 – February 12, 2017
  • Leading Ladies, March 9 – April 2, 2017
  • My Fair Lady, April 27 – May 21, 2017

Warsaw Federal Incline Theater District Series:

  • Title of Show, September 29 – October 16, 2016
  • God of Carnage, November 17 – December 4, 2016
  • The Rocky Horror Show, February 16 – March 5, 2017
  • Equus, April 6-23, 2017

Subscriptions for both seasons immediately were available for purchase after the announcement.

The Covedale Center Marquee Series subscriptions are $132 for all 6 shows. Current subscribers can  renew their seats through June 25, 2016. Tickets to single shows go on sale July 25, 2016. The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts is located at 4990 Glenway Avenue.

District Series subscriptions for the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater are $84 for all 4 shows. Current subscribers can renew their seats through June 25, 2016. Tickets to single shows go on sale July 25, 2016. The Warsaw Federal Incline Theater is located at 801 Matson Place.

The Marquee Series and District Series seasons complement Cincinnati Landmark Productions’ previously announced 2016 Summer Classics Season at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater, presented by TriHealth:

The Warsaw Federal Incline Theater, opened in June 2015, is a brand new, purpose-built, 229-seat performing arts center and parking garage in the Incline District in East Price Hill. Located at the corner of Matson Place and West 8th Street, the $6 million project was finished on time and on budget. All 45 performances during the debut 2015 Summer Classics Season were sold out.

Cincinnati Landmark Productions has been serving the West Side for over 30 years – first through its Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre program and then through its ownership and management of the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts in West Price Hill. Since opening in 2002, the arts center quadrupled its subscribership. Attendance ballooned from 13,990 in the 2002-03 season to over 37,000 (representing 304 zip codes) last season.
