THE INS AND OUTS OF LOVE on Oct. 15

CPI_Ins and Outs of Love logoTHE INS AND OUTS OF LOVE
Presented by Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative
Oct. 15
Aronoff Center Fifth Third Bank Theater [Downtown]

Nine short plays, some with ‘alternative’ views of romance, will be given staged readings, courtesy of Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative.  CPI acknowledges here that a few (or more) folks regard ‘Sweetest Day’ as a commercial ploy to peddle Valentine’s Day-like commodities — candy, flowers, et al. These stories offer other-than-Hallmark-y themes.

The plays include: A BETTER PLACE by Eric Thomas; A BOY AND HIS FROG by Charles Goetz; SOME ENCHANTED EVENING by Joe Bobbit; PULLING OUT by David Hughes; SHE SHOOTS, SHE SCORES by Roger Brookfield; THE OLD AND THE NU by David Greenberg; WEDDING BLISSTER by Tami Brady; YES DEAR by Jon Singer & DISTRACTED BY LOVE by Alan Joziak
