One of America’s Most Beloved Pianists is Coming to the Fairfield Community Arts Center

FCAC_Robin SpielbergFAIRFIELD, OH – Robin Spielberg, one of America’s most popular contemporary female pianists/composers, performs at the Fairfield Community Arts Center (FCAC) Friday, April 26 at 8 p.m. One of the most expressive pianists of our time, Spielberg has released 24 studio recordings, is in the top 1% of artists played on Pandora Radio with over 200 million streams on that platform, has 160,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and has sold over a million physical CDs of her piano-centric music.

Tickets are $35 for Café seats and $32 for Stadium seats. Call the FCAC Box Office at 513-867-5348 or purchase online at www.FairfieldOH.gov/tickets. Part of the Wine, Women & Song Series, tickets include complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Cash bar opens at 7 p.m. Café seats are at tables on stage with the performer. This performance is funded in part by the Ohio Arts Council.

Spielberg’s compositions are melodic soundtracks for her life journey, and her concerts have the distinction of intertwining humorous and poignant storytelling with her musical gifts at the piano. “Music smooths the rough edges of life,” says Robin Spielberg in a recent interview. “It speaks to us when words fail and expresses our deepest emotions.”

Spielberg discovered her passion for music as a youth and began formal piano lessons at the age of 7. By the time she turned 10, she had composed more than 50 original songs. Now in her fourth decade of creating music and touring, Spielberg has had a long and storied career as a pianist, composer, recording artist, entrepreneur, speaker, writer, music therapy advocate, and educator.

CHICAGO: Teen Audition Presented by Colerain High School Drama Club Runs March 22-24

CHS_ChicagoThe Colerain High School Drama Club proudly presents CHICAGO: Teen Edition on March 22nd and 23rd at 7PM and March 24th at 2PM in the CHS Auditorium located at 8801 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, OH.

Come join us as we travel back to the 1920s for this familiar tale of greed, corruption, and jazz, all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts. Will Roxie Hart get away with the shooting death of her lover? Will Velma Kelly ever get her trial date? Will Amos ever be treated with respect? Will the six merry murderesses get away with homicide? OR will Billy Flynn, attorney extraordinaire get them acquitted for the incredibly low price of five thousand dollars?

All these answers, along with the familiar songs and dances made famous by the movie and Broadway productions await you as 23 students sing and dance their way through this gritty and gripping tale. Adding to the jazzy ambiance is our killer 14-piece student orchestra.
