Katalyst Hosts Casting Agents on Feb. 5

Many of you have indicated a strong interest in working in LA & NY. Having representation or a top casting director in your corner before you get there can save you years of struggle both emotionally and financially. We have arranged for top casting office representative Rachel Hoffman from Telsey & Co to see our talent Sunday the 5th. Last time Rachel was here she was very impressed with our talent. Quite a few of our girls were put on tape for the Broadway revival of Annie.

Rachel Hoffman has cast for Wicked, Rent, 9-5, Blithe Spirit, Legally Blonde, Equus, Grey Gardens, The Color Purple, Elf to name a few.

Bryan Leder from Management 101 who reps Ciara Bravo from Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush has signed talent he met at past workshops. Brady Grove was seen and signed by him. Brady shot a lead in a pilot for Disney last year because of Bryan’s efforts. Pilot season is just beginning to gear up and if he likes what he sees he may offer to manage you.

Management 101 is a firm that guides the careers of actors, writers, and music acts. Clients can be seen on such television shows as Accidentally On Purpose, Southland, Hannah Montana, Parks And Recreation, Mad Men, Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Law & Order, CSI, CSI: NY, Cold Case, Entourage, One Life To Live, Monk, iCarly, and One Tree Hill, to name a few. Clients can also be seen in such films as Fame (2009), Transformers, August Rush, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, College, and Bratz: The Movie, among others. Clients have also appeared in many Broadway productions such as Avenue Q, WIcked, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Rent. The company also represents several screenwriters, book authors, and recording artists.

I have 8 spots left that will be given first come first serve. Cost to be seen and perform for these guests is $250. Call Robyn to secure your spot.

If these spots are not taken by Katalyst talent I will open them up to talent outside the agency. Cost for talent outside the agency is $350.

Rachel and Bryan will be seeing everyone on February 5th from 11am- 2pm at Northern Kentucky University’s Stauss Theater.
