Cast Announced for A CHRISTMAS CAROL – A Live Radio Play at Beechmont Players

This holiday favorite comes to life as a 1940’s radio broadcast, with sound effects, background music, and vintage advertisements.

Come see the talented Jay Gossett, Laura Gossett, Jody Hart, Mark Metzner, Patricia Mullins, Ryan Oelker, Steve Phelan, Amy Sullivan, Kristen Vincenty, and Jim Waldfogle bring these classic characters to life!

And join us in ringing in the holiday season after the show with a Christmas song sing-along!

EURYDICE Runs Oct. 11-13

Eurydice reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists and breathtaking poetry, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story. CCM and the Cincinnati Opera will also present an operatic version of this play in November.

Admission is free, but reservations are required. Tickets become available at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8. Visit the CCM Box Office or call 513-556-4183 to reserve. Limit two tickets per order.

Ever think what would have happened if Dorothy didn’t immediately follow the celebrated yellow brick road? When Dorothy is sidetracked by a farmer offering an alternate route to the wizard’s front door — in the form of a mysterious map, Glinda the Good is furious. After all, she wants to be a storybook hero, and the story will be ruined if Dorothy doesn’t meet her three friends along the yellow brick road. Meanwhile, the Wicked Witch of the West is thrilled with the alternative route, which will rewrite the story and possibly save her from her watery fate.

Based on the 1939 movie with Judy Garland. Dorothy Gale, a young girl living on a Kansas farm with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, dreams of escaping her mundane life. So when witchy old Miss Gulch threatens to impound Dorothy’s dog Toto, Dorothy runs away with her pet, only to be whisked away to the Land of OZ in a terrifying cyclone. Looking for her way back home, she and her new friends sing some of the most iconic songs ever, including “If I Only Had a Brain/Heart/Nerve”, “Munchkin Land”, “Follow The Yellow Brick Road” and the classic “Over the Rainbow”.
