2025 Summer Classics Season Announced by Warsaw Federal Incline Theatre

Cincinnati Landmark Productions announced this week its four-show 2025 Summer Classics Season at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater.

The 2025 Summer Classics Season includes:

THE WEDDING SINGER
April 16 – May 11, 2025

It’s 1985, and rock star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until his own fiancée leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a winsome waitress who wins his affection. As fate would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever. Based on the 1998 film starring Adam Sandler, this stage adaptation captures the spirit, charm and humor of that comedy classic.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
May 28 – June 22, 2025

The Tony Award-nominated musical Million Dollar Quartet is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary December night to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations that is both poignant and funny. Relive the era with the smash-hit sensation featuring an incredible score of rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B and country hits. Song include “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Hound Doug,” and more!

BURGERTOWN: THE MUSICAL
July 9 – August 3, 2025

BurgerTown is a delicious musical comedy set in the Windy City. When Danny O’Riley, a timid fry cook accidentally invents the hottest new craze in the fast-food world; the Triangle Burger, he takes the humble BurgerTown diner from its lowly place beneath the tracks of the Fullerton train station to soaring new heights. Along the way, Danny encounters bad guys, big business, and beautiful women. While he struggles to hold onto his sanity, he chases his dreams for success, romance, and a fast-food fortune.

HAIRSPRAY
August 20 – September 14, 2025

The 1950s are out, and change is in the air! Hairspray, winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, is a family-friendly musical, piled bouffant-high with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs. It’s 1962 in Baltimore, and the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire – to dance on the popular “Corny Collins Show.” When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin and integrate a TV network… all without denting her ‘do!

Middletown Lyric Theatre To Close After 2024 Season

Dear Followers and Friends

Recently we informed our Donors & Season Ticket Holders that at the end of this season Middletown Lyric Theatre will close its doors. We cannot begin to thank them enough as well as our volunteers and performers for the past 16 years of support at 1530 Central Avenue.
Since its inception, 46 years ago, M.L.T. has been a mainstay in downtown Middletown. We have participated in more community events than we can count and have witnessed the losses of a once thriving “arts community.” Gone are Middletown Summer Youth Theatre, The Middletown Symphony Orchestra, Middletown Youth Symphony, the High Fever Follies, the Tri-Arts Festival, The SORG Opera Company and of course MidFest; the city-wide celebration of art & culture. These organizations and events played a vital and integral role in the social and economic development of Middletown.

However, times change and so do communities and once again it is time to change. It is the goal of the M.L.T. Board of Directors, to draw on its supporters, volunteers and participants for new ideas on how to reimagine, our theatre company, so that it can better serve the greater Middletown community as well as continue to contribute to the arts communities of Greater Dayton & Cincinnati.

So, until that “new day” arrives we hope we will see you at the theatre for our final two productions, THE GLASS MENAGERIE in September and THE THANKSGIVING PLAY in November.

On behalf of everyone associated with Middletown Lyric Theatre
THANK YOU

**In Loving Memory of Robert Lewis Hinman, Jr.**

Robert Lewis Hinman, Jr. departed this life unexpectedly on August 26, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion that forever remain in the hearts of those he cherished. A devoted husband to Koben Hinman (née Kelly), Robert was a dedicated father to his daughters, Stephanie (Joe) Helfrich, Elizabeth Donato of Chicago, Illinois, and Melissa (Matt) Disher. He was a beloved grandfather to Samantha Helfrich, Abigail Helfrich, Alexander Donato, Zachary Donato, and Brodie Disher, who brought immense joy to his life. Preceded in death in 2019, by stepson Brian Brady.

Born into a family rich in love, Robert was the cherished brother of William Hinman of Callaway, Nebraska, and Holly (John) Schario of Nashville, Tennessee. His commitment to family was unwavering, and he treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, particularly at their various events.

An ardent supporter of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Robert found joy in sharing his enthusiasm for the team with friends and family. Professionally, he dedicated over 35 years to Hormel Foods in sales, where his work ethic and integrity stood as testament to his character.

Robert’s contributions extended far beyond his professional life. A passionate member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, he was instrumental in enriching the community through his involvement. As president of Summer Fair and lifelong volunteer, he brought people together, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and fun. Moreover, his voice echoed through the halls of Kings High School Sports, earning him a place in the Kings High School Hall of Fame for his dedication and support of young athletes, including the remarkable 2023 Girls State Volleyball Champion Team. He also served as a past board member of the Kings School District, demonstrating his commitment to education and youth.

A longtime volunteer with the Community Theater, Robert embraced the arts, helping to bring joy and creativity to his community. His kindness and leadership illuminated the lives of those around him, marking him as a pillar of strength and compassion.

Robert Lewis Hinman, Jr. will be profoundly missed, not only by his beautiful family but also by a multitude of friends and community members whose lives he touched. His spirit of generosity and unwavering support will continue to inspire all who knew him.
