CenterStage Players to Present World Premiere of INCORRIGIBLE

CSP_Incorrigible logo(Cincinnati, OH) – The CenterStage Players are scheduled to stage the world premiere of ‘Incorrigible’ which will open on Friday, February 18 and run for two weekends. INCORRIGIBLE is the second full length play written by local playwright Teri Foltz.  Her first production (The Faculty Lounge) was premiered at Ft. Thomas’ Village Players in 2016 and was subsequently produced by Chicago’s Oil Lamp Theatre in 2017.  The cast and crew of INCORRIGIBLE features individuals from throughout the tri-state area.

INCORRIGIBLE follows the story of a high school senior who deals with his inner grief in a rebellious manner.  As the story progresses, the audience is shown how other characters deal with emotions of grief, shame, and anger.  Sigmund Freud said, “Unexpressed emotions will never die.  They are buried alive and will come forth later in ugly ways.”  Every character in INCORRIGIBLE is dealing with grief, shame, and anger.  And they suffer silently and alone.  Everybody has a past . . . some people still live there.

Performances will be February 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 8:00 PM, and February 20 and 27 at 2:00 PM.  All performances will be at Lockland High School – 249 W. Forrer Avenue – Cincinnati, OH.  There will be a special talkback session with the playwright on Sunday, February 20 immediately following the matinee performance.  Advance tickets are available at www.centerstageplayersinc.com.
