Mason Community Players is holding auditions for its second virtual show of 2021.
MCP is presenting IF THIS ISN’T LOVE, two one-acts that explore the intricacies of relationships and the allure of love. Directed by Jay Fultz, the show will be aired as a live Zoom event July 9-11, 2021. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 8:00 PM with the Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM.
The first one-act, A Tale of Two Spectators, has two characters – one male, one female. Set in the course of one evening, these two individuals share their feelings as they watch their partners developing a relationship with each other. Will their visits to the same park bench over the past few months lead to a loving relationship for them, as well?
The second one-act, Why We Like Love Stories, weaves a tale of blooming love relationships and how they can become intertwined. This cast includes two males and two females and is best suited for younger performers, teens through early 30s.
If you would like to be a part of IF THIS ISN’T LOVE, please send an e-mail to masonplayers@masonplayers.org expressing your interest before Saturday, May 8, 2021. You will be contacted by Jay and he will schedule a time for you to audition with others via a Zoom setting.
Please consider joining MCP in this summer offering.
